The Intentional Journey

The journey of my life has been extremely interesting. As I was doing my morning routine, I have this order, I always do, and the gym wasn't open today, which was fine. That didn't mean that I needed to stop anything that I was doing, I just needed to pivot a little. So I went walking around the neighborhood. I did three miles in a little under an hour. And as I was doing my walking, I did my morning meditation. It was supposed to be five minutes, turned into about 20, honestly, because I found myself doing it and starting over, which was great because every time I felt my mind shift, I just wanted to go back into that moment and be present. But once I finished all of that up, I was gonna listen to an audiobook, and I did do that at the end, but I started thinking, I did a workshop a couple of days ago, and a week prior to the workshop, I had done a live television event in Hollywood. And as I'm walking, after I finished my meditation, which was about trust and abundance, and the thoughts started going through my mind, all great thoughts at the time, and I thought, wait a minute, this is my journey. And I started reflecting, and I was like, 10 years ago, would I have imagined being here? And that answer is no, I would not have imagined being here. 10 years ago, I was still trying to figure out what here was, I was still trying to figure out who I was. Um, but it just warmed my heart, it basically brought me to tears because I know my purpose, and every single person that crosses my path and I hold a conversation with, I always leave them with something that will make them better or will cause them to think and they'll realize something they can do that would make them better, just be a better version of themselves. So I always want to leave everyone with something powerful that they can carry, that they can create as a tool. And I know some people be like, How can you do that in a quick two-minute conversation? Or it makes sense you can do it within an hour conversation, but as I was thinking through it, all of the women and men that I met at the event, and all of them that I met through my workshop, the one thing that really resonated with me was here I am. Did you stop for a minute and say, Here I am? Because I'm big on being present, being in the moment, and enjoying the moment, and I was actually doing that, but now since those moments are over and there's forward momentum and those more there's more moments coming, I started thinking, I cannot believe or even imagine that this is where I was going to be. I have my intentions, I have my purpose, I set out on a mission to live and walk in my purpose, be attentionable, be intentional about every single thing that I do, but just reflecting during my morning walk was amazing to me because I have been put in rooms and given opportunities that I could never imagine, that I could never have thought to even ask for, and what it makes me realize and what I share with people all the time. This is the one thing that we struggle with as humans. We can have a dream in life, and we could put all the plans together, we could map it out. I mean, we could become a master planner, a master mapper. But if we don't take one step, one action, a step, one step at a time, that eventually will turn into quantum leaps. Let me let you know. But one single step at a time, if we don't get started, we never get to that point. So as I'm walking, I started telling myself, well done, TK. Well done. Of course, you still have a long ways to go, but well done on taking the step and another step, and another step. And I continue to step right now as I make this recording to share and another step. Those steps, regardless of me seeing the path, I know my intention and my purpose. The path of how will reveal itself as I continue to take a step. And that's what those last two events I did. That's what that was. It was taking a step, and I was headed in one direction, and those just opened up to me. And those opening up is a pure testimony of taking the step will reveal the path and the how. And all of those people that enter into your circle and your space will help map out the way for you, will help show you that path, will help show you that how as long as you continue to take the steps. So I am so abundantly grateful. I am so appreciative. I don't even think I could come up with enough words right now as I do this and speak about this to really express how fulfilled and how grateful I am to know that I had the strength and the power, even when I didn't feel like it, I kept stepping and stepping. And at this very moment to know that I am going to continue to step. Because once you make those steps and you get past that old version of you and what's blocking you and what's holding you up and what's stopping you, which we know is fear and doubt. Because fear and doubt, our mind does that because it wants us to stay comfortable, and it starts to play that what if game. Well, if I do make that step, what can happen? Oh no, if I make that step, everything's gonna fall apart. But we always gotta flip it and use the same word in the first one. What if I make that step? Oh my gosh, what's gonna happen? Exactly. What if I make that step? Oh my gosh, everything can unfold for you. It doesn't have to be negative at all, and truly, there is nothing negative. Whatever happens, it's meant to happen because we need it to happen for us, because that's what helps develop us into that new version of ourselves. So we need that, whatever it may be. So I say that to say I need everyone to take a step and then another one, and then put that foot back in front of the other and keep going step by step. Allow it to turn into a walk, it can be a slow walk at that, because time don't worry about time. That's just another one of those things that can get in our way, but just step and turn it into a small, slow walk, and the pace will pick up on its own because everything that you need to start coming to you, and that's how making the step, the path opens up and it's created for you. And don't be afraid when things change, don't be afraid when you have to pivot because you only know what you know at the point of when you know it. So just know that there's gonna become, there's more coming to you, and you're gonna learn a lot more, you're gonna grow, you're going to evolve, and be open to those individuals that come into your path. Be open to listen to what they're saying. We know that our perspective is our reality, but as we continue to take a step by step, our perspective is gonna change, which is gonna change our reality. We have to work on ourselves internally, which changes that perspective as we continue to move, that changes that reality for us. Things that were my reality or my perspective 10 years ago, 15 years ago, I could think about them now and be like, oh, I hate that that's what I was thinking. I hate that that's what my mindset was at the time, but then I think I'm thankful for it because I know those shifts and those journeys that I went through got me to the point that where I am today. So I'm very, very thankful. I had to just stop and just share that with everyone. This journey that I'm on will definitely continue. All of you are more than welcome, and I encourage you to continue to follow me, continue to walk with me. And anytime you need some strength because it just ain't looking right, it's just not going your way, that's because you're determining, you're trying to determine what the outcome needs to be, and you have to let go of that control. If you can let go of that control and trust and know that you're guided and just take the steps, it'll flow and turn out exactly how you need it to be. Maybe not what you imagined it to be, maybe not what the dream that you had. It may not turn out like that, but I can promise you if you continue to take the steps, it's gonna be far more than what you can imagine. Far more than what you can imagine, and I'm sharing that with you as a living testimony. I promise you it'll be better. My last two events, those were wonderful. And no, I didn't think that I would be on the stage of doing that. I was thinking, okay, TK, you stay behind the scenes and you just help those that you can help as you come across them. But I knew I have an ultimate goal of touching millions and sharing with millions, but I had no idea that the opportunity would just knock on the door and welcome me in. So it wasn't even a door that was knocked on, just on vacation one day in San Diego, trying to take a weekend off because I had just did an event prior and I just needed to relax. And my husband is very good at after each event. I'll do like a spa day or we'll do a quick, you know, two-day getaway just to kind of relax my mind, get me back in the zone of things because it takes a lot of preparation. And when we took this trip to San Diego last minute, it was like, we gotta go because we gotta get you relaxed. And I told them walking through the airport, I was like, I'm gonna meet someone this weekend, and they are gonna help me evolve to that next step in the process of the steps that I am making. Had no idea who, had no idea how was gonna happen, but I trust and have faith and know that that is exactly what's going to happen for me. So we enjoyed the weekend. We went to the beach, walked along the beach, did a lot of different things in San Diego that just enabled me to, you know, just relax and just randomly going out to a rooftop bar to just sit and relax because it was a little cool where you needed a jacket, but they had the fire pits on, everything, and just sitting there, and it's a woman that comes up to me and she's like, I've seen you, I know you. And I'm thinking to myself as I'm looking at her and conversing with her, and I'm like, I don't know where you've seen me yet. I don't know how we know each other, and she shares with me then that she knows my girls, and she's like, I had a full conversation with your girls, and she was able to explain to me, you know, some of the converse part of the conversation that they had, and I knew, okay, she has to know my kids because that is spot on, those are definitely my girls, so she had to have that conversation, but I'm like, I just don't know. And then it was like, well, I seen you on a billboard somewhere, I saw the video and it dawned on me, okay. One of the events I did was the women's expo, and I had no idea that they had put me on one of the billboards until someone else mentioned it to me and they took a picture. So I was like, okay, well, that is a possibility. I get that, and then she immediately shares with me, I'm doing an event in California, and you have to be there, you will fit perfectly. That was two days into the trip. Amazing. We definitely manifest our dreams into our reality. I was very intentional when I spoke it, and I spoke it into existence. I created exactly what I wanted by being purposeful and being intentional. So walking through that San Diego airport, sharing with my husband, I'm gonna meet someone that would help me. That is exactly what I did. I didn't know what that help was gonna look like, and none of that mattered. I didn't know what it would look like or how it was gonna happen, but absolutely none of it mattered because I just knew that I was. And by doing that, opened up a whole new world for me. And there's levels to this process. So as long as you're taking the steps and you're learning what you can and you're growing and evolving, you're gonna level up. You're gonna continue to level up on a consistent basis. Only way you don't is if you stop. And let me let me continue to just be transparent with you. When you stop taking the steps, please understand that you are still taking steps, just not in the direction that you want to go. Not in that form of I'm taking these steps to manifest my dreams or turn my dreams into a reality or create the life that I want for me or my me and my family or my kids, whatever it may be that you want to do. Just remember when you stop intentionally moving in that direction and doing what you can, you're taking steps in the other direction because it's gonna map out. Life is gonna continue to life. So you choose. Do I be intentional and take the steps and move forward with what I know I want to do? Or do I just let life continue to happen and I just go with the flow in whatever way it takes me? I'ma just figure it out and keep moving. I urge you to do the ladder. Please do, well, not do the ladder, please do the first one. Just take the steps. Even if it doesn't make sense, doesn't work out the way you want to. One day is a little rocky. One step, one of the steps you take, you didn't realize it was a crack in the ground and you tripped. Get up and dust yourself off and keep going. But don't allow it, don't allow life to just move without you having any type of control. Be the leader of your life, and that solely means choose what it is that you want to do instead of allowing life to choose it for you. So I am going to leave you guys with this. Please be intentional with every thought that you have from this moment moving forward. Because remember, if you think it, that's what you're creating. And you want to create what works for you, what makes you happy, what makes you feel whole and peaceful inside. What would that ideal version of you do if you were able to live out your dreams? Be that person. And in order to do that, be you got to be intentional. So every thought, because your brain can't tell the difference if you're playing, if you're serious, if you're joking about what you want to do, or not, it doesn't, it doesn't differentiate between those things. That's why you got to be intentional about what you say. So if you say, I'm never gonna accomplish this, okay, then you're not, because that's what you told yourself. But if you tell yourself every day, I am going to accomplish this, you are going to accomplish it. The only way you don't is if you stop and tell yourself you're not. So my words for you for today, please be intentional about every single thing that you say and every single thing that you do, and move with love and abundance, and you guys will hear me again.
